12B/C Alternator conversion

[Drooping Turns]

Anyone out there aware of a 12B/C with a alternator conversion? I understand the generator (below the engine) is removed and a lighter alternator installed on or near the rear of the transmission, taking its drive from the tailrotor outdrive. Would love to see pictures or drawings of this installation.

Dwayne I have just done this mod on my '56 12C. The guys at Vanguard Helicopters in the UK did this. Talk to Keith. Let me have an email address and I will email you some photos

What are you doing to "send" the pictures?

You should be able to embed a picture with the [img] option.

Have you tried upload the pictures as an attachment?

Also I have not seen any pictures sent to the administrators email account administrator@helihiller.com
