Can anyone tell me how many acres the hiller will cover for each type of crop?

Joe,

Don't know about frost, but if you're in the Or, Wash area, you need to investigate drying of cherries after rainfall. I'm told a 12E can cover about a hundred acres in reasonable time, two hours, at $40/acre. PM me for details.

You can use the follwoing formula to figure out area covered over the ground for any type of work whether it be liquid spray, dry application, rotorwash coverage or what have you :
swath width(effective rotor wash area)X speed X .002= area covered in 1 minute per single pass, from there you can calculate just about anything you need.
This is the base formula for figuring out any type of calibration for aerial application, and is well proven to be very accurate.
Good luck,
