I know a number of you have been out the the Vertical Challenge airshow and/or the Hiller aviation museum. I was hoping to get some feedback as to see if it was worth the trip across the country. Any thoughts?

I MIGHT be a little biased, Of course it is worth a trip. Just being 30 miles south of San Francisco should be enough. Come to the show Saturday, then go see the sights on Saturday night and Sunday. This year we have Otto the clown helicopter as our main act. We are going to try to bring the Zeppelin in again, it did not land last year due to the winds. Hopefully demos from Cal-fire, Coast Guard and CHP. Last year we had a flight of 3 Bell 47s come in.
Here is the link to our web page for this year. Check out the photo book from past shows. In the 2004 book there is a picture of Stan Hiller arriving at the show in a Hiller 12B. It was his last helicopter flight.
