Some years ago when I was first looking to buy a Hiller UH12 C, I remember being told by more than one person in the industry, that one of the primary advantages of owning a 12C was that there was no "time life" parts.
Recently, I was in a conversation with another enthusiast, who once again raised the subject of zero, time life parts.
We have been involved in the restoration and maintenance of these machines for some time now, and it would be interesting to hear if any of you are of the same opinion.
I'm attaching a schedule from the official Inspection Guide, listing the mandatory, component replacement times.
If these machines are being sold to an innocent public on the basis of inaccurate information, it will inevitably end up with a component failure.
I'd really like to hear from you and get your views.
