Maintenance Shops

Postby David Doty » Mon Dec 28, 2015 12:58 am

Greetings,

Does anyone know of, or have experience with any mechanics / maintenance shops in the central Florida area that work on Hillers? Although they are fairly straight forward to work on, most maintenance shops, including helicopter shops, decline to work on Hillers because of lack of experience in the make and model.

Thanks.

Plumberpilot, I am contemplating getting a B or C, but only if I can find a place to provide maintenance and parts support.

Thanks.

David you're in the same state as the guys that have all the A,B, and C Hiller advertising. I can recommend a great Hiller shop in VA but they only work on D E E-4 and ETs as far as Hillers go. Sorry I'm no help to you with the earlier hillers.

Plumber Pilot, I think the guys in Florida are going out of business soon. They had "everything must go" ads on eBay and Barnstormers, so their longevity in the business is questionable.
