Wanted: Ground handling wheel source

Postby tsongololo » Mon Apr 14, 2008 5:36 pm

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a source for ground handling wheels. I'm in need of the brackets too but they don't look too complicated to build. Finding a 5 or 6 inch wheel that can hold ~1000lbs. has been the hard part.

Also I'd like to know where I might be able to find a cable for the pull start on a 12B (Franklin 6V335).

Thanks,

Jennifer

I'm looking for a good set of ground handling wheels. Does anyone have a set to sell. Also, I was talking to a commercial helo pilot and he told me that you are not allowed to fly with your wheels in a retract position on the skids. The purpose for my wheels is to allow me to relocate my hiller if it fails to start after I re-fuel at some of the busy airports that I fly to. Anyone have any input on the regs for this one?
