UH 12 C with 70 hours was involved in HARD landing due to engine failure. Many parts are salvageable and even a possible rebuild.
The top bubble plastic is still in great shape. The seats and avionic panel are great. You can see the major damage is to the boom. The main rotors are great, but the tail rotor is gone. The skids are great, but the horizontal bars attaching across the two skids are bent. From what the FAA told me, it sounds like a guy needs to put a new magneto in to repair the engine. The radios were taken out by the original manufacturer and I'm going to see if I can get them back. But this is highly unlikely.
I have two new quick-attach doors that have never been used that go with
the ship. I also have a 275 gallon fuel tank available that I'd like to
get rid of. I have the log books and POH.
Like I already mentioned, the ship had only 70 hours on it when the mag failed.
