Generally speaking, are spare parts for B/C models more redily available than for D/E models? It seems that with the finite lives involved with D/E components, ie blades and hubs in particular, that those operators are having more trouble keeping their aircraft airborne. At least that is the impression I am getting from the web and from this forum. The older, albiet less capable ships with their "on condition" blades and hubs seem to be easier to keep airborne. Perhaps there are more spares for them because the military had more of them and since they arn't being used commercially as much, they are lasting longer?
Or am I way off base?
