Oh well Better late than never. I have owned 269As and had fun with them till the ADs got to be too much for me. I hated to open mail from the factory because it could easily cost me 10k and ground my bird. I like my Hiller much better even though parts are hard to find, I never liked dealing with the friction dampers or the landing gear dampers and even after I started flying elastomeric dampers I was always on edge about the tests they have to be put through. Mine was a TH55 so the newer models might be better on the ADs but my feeling was the factory designed all these parts and they should share the pain when a brand new part was deemed unairworthy but no such luck. Hillers are just simpler and more robust its a shame someone's not building new ones now.
