Any Hiller drivers out there?

This is too nice of a site to go unused by the Hiller family. Post something please.

Greetins Ricky,

totally agree with your statement. Very hard to find useful, up-to-date Hiller information on the internet.
I'm glad to have found this forum in order to share flight/maintenance experiences with fellow Hiller owners.

Hi all,
We have a very nice 12b down under in little old New Zealand that we are lucky enough to look after.
Also have a local chap ( engineer for our 12b) who runs a very nice fh1100

Cheers

Robbie,

good to hear from another A/B/C operator. We are close to getting a 12C airworthy again in Costa Rica.

We are currently restoring our B/C model right now. Hopefully have it flying within the next year or so.

I sold the main blades off of my 12E “Baker” for the second time in a year so that delayed my annual for a while. I needed to decide which blades would go on it next. I like to run the blade sets before I sell them to insure they fly together. I’m flying an early set of 2253-1101-03 blades now that fly beautifully. I’m going through that same exercise with my other 12E “Skeeter” installing a 53200-03 blade that wouldn’t fly with blades it was tried with before. Luckily it flies with my matching blade so theres another good flying set. Skeeter is out of annual now but I think Ill space the annual inspections out by 6 months on these birds to insure I’ve always got one ready to fly. That is until Skeeter sells, 2 flying 12Es is one too many for me.
